Impressions in Time was founded by me, Emmie. I am a first time mum to a beautiful little boy.
Having always loved any kind of keepsake – from photos littering my house to souvenirs from various holidays, when I had my son I knew I would want any kind of keepsake I could get my hands on to remember how tiny he was! I initially had a clay impression of his hands and feet made by a company and loved the result. Then, I got ambitious and purchased the materials to make a 3D cast of his feet (one of my favourite parts of his squidgy little body!) but, despite being pretty crafty, the casts I made didn’t come out as hoped.
Fast forward a few months when I was ready to return to work following maternity leave – it was at this point that I decided that I’d love to use my passion for crafts to make a living and underwent training to do 3D casting. Thus, Impressions in Time was born. I love what I do!
