We offer a broad range of 3D casting products, to suit your budget and taste. If you have seen something you like elsewhere, please contact us to discuss it further as we love new ideas!

How do we create the 3D casts?

The process involved in creating the cast is very simple. You can come to us at our home in Haverhill or, for a small fee, we can visit you for the appointment in the comfort of your own home. The 3D casting appointment will last between 60-90 minutes, depending on your requirements. However, we allow plenty of time for every appointment, to allow for feeds, nappy changes and play time to keep your little one happy!

At the 3D casting appointment, we will discuss the products you would like, your preferred finish and frame choice. We will then take the moulds for your casts using the putty like material we use, alginate. Alginate is very safe and is suitable for use from birth – it is made from seaweed and is the same material used to take impressions of teeth at the dentist. Each mould only takes about 1 minute to set so there’s no need to panic about keeping baby still for minutes on end.

Once the moulds have been taken, I will take them away to complete the process. We will then be able to advise you when we expect the finished 3D casting products to be ready for collection or delivery.

Our 3D casts can be finished in a variety of metallic paint finishes, all of which help to bring out all the beautiful details on the hands and feet. We also offer four frame styles – from classic, simple frames to ornate, vintage styles – to ensure the end product suits your taste and decor. We also offer a range of mount colours to complement your chosen paint and frame finish, ensuring a stylish finished product.
